Selection of Excellent Teaching Assistants for the 113th Academic Year
In order to encourage outstanding teaching assistants in our school and recognize their efforts and contributions in assisting teaching, our center is organizing the "Selection of Excellent Teaching Assistants". Teachers or students are welcome to recommend excellent teaching assistants to participate in the selection. The selected outstanding teaching assistants will be awarded a certificate and a scholarship as encouragement.
1. Applicants: Anyone who has served as a teaching assistant (including Advanced Teaching Assistants and Teaching Assistants) employed by the Center during their studies may apply.
2. Application period: From now until May 1, 2015 (Thursday), please send the written materials to the Teaching and Learning Development and Resources Center (2nd floor, Li-Hsueh Building).
3. Application Procedure: Applicants should submit application materials and supporting evidence in the following order for review.
(1) Application Form for Outstanding Teaching Assistant Selection (Appendix 1)
(2) Teacher recommendation letter (Appendix 2)
(Please refer to the webpage announcement link for attachments 1 and 2)
(3) Written materials (Please attach other specific supporting materials as a reference for the assessment. For example: assistance to the teaching teacher in preparing teaching materials, assistance with the office hour for homework tutoring, students' suggestions and evaluation materials for teaching assistants, teaching teacher's teaching evaluation improvement related materials, etc.)
4. The selection process for excellent teaching assistants consists of two stages: preliminary selection and re-selection:
l Qualification review: Applicants must pass the qualification review before entering the preliminary review. The preliminary review unit is the Teaching and Learning Development and Resources Center.
Assessment items: Applicants must have been employed by the Teaching and Learning Development and Resources Center and have actually served as a teaching assistant for one full semester.
l Initial review scoring items:
(1) Attendance at relevant training, seminars, lectures and other advanced courses each semester shall account for 20%.
(2) The monthly work report submission of teaching assistants accounts for 20%.
(3) The self-evaluation form at the end of each semester accounts for 10%
(4) Teacher evaluation accounts for 40%
(5) Complete and submit teaching achievement records within the deadline 10%
(6) The average score of the final examination is higher than 3.5 points (inclusive)
The Center will notify the review based on the results of the initial review.

Time: Scheduled for noon on May 20, 2015 (Tuesday)
The selection committee will review the candidates based on the results of the preliminary review stage and written materials.
Written: 20 %
Interview: 80 %
5. The selected excellent teaching assistants must participate in the Excellent Teaching Assistant Sharing Seminar on June 3, 2015 (Tuesday), and will be awarded certificates and scholarships as encouragement.
