Introduction of Clinical Skill Classroom of Kaohsiung Medical University

Clinical Skill Learning Center is established in Kaohsiung Medical University in 15th December 2005 in order to improve the efficiency of teaching. In 6th July 2006, it is renamed to Clinical Skill Classroom. A team member is selected to standardized patient training and Clinical Skill training. Clinical Skill Learning Center have one chairman, with standardized patients and clinical skills training team teaching group for enhance the clinical skills training seed teachers, recruiting and training standardized patients, clinical skills learning management and related operations.  

Origin

In addition to traditional learning education, the practical instinct of the operation is an important part of medical students. In order to reduce patient exposure to dangerous situations, establishment of clinical skills classroom for repetitive practice and can not cause damage is our purposes.

Vision

Clinical Skill Classroom integrates of teaching resources and assessment from school and college. It provide professional clinical skills for medical students, set up a variety of clinical situations lesson plans database to provide training for residents at all levels of treatment in clinical situations to improve the quality of teaching clinical skills, seek to become OSCE skills national examination room Of southern Taiwan. We hope to better the classroom to share equipment and resources and the promotion of basic clinical skills in the surrounding schools and communities, becoming a national clinical skills education certification center and medical teaching demonstration university of southern.
